Introduction

PDF printing replaces the need for printing paper copies then scanning them when creating a digital copy of a document. Instead of creating a paper copy you can capture any printable digital content directly into a PDF file to be both preserved and shared, that results in a much higher quality document with often a much smaller file size than scanning paper.

Examples:

  • Saving a receipt displayed on a web page
  • Finalizing PDF forms so they can no longer be edited
  • Converting between various file formats to PDF

These instructions will help guide you though a couple of examples using the print to PDF feature.
